This study is establishing one of the largest concussion datasets in the world and is incorporating assessments including physiological evaluations, fluid biomarkers and advanced neuroimaging to improve the diagnosis, treatment, and management of concussion from all causes, across the entire patient spectrum.
We established the first 360 Concussion Care clinic in September 2020 in Ottawa, and we expanded to clinic sites in Toronto in spring 2021 and Mississauga in October 2022.
360 Concussion Care is seeking a skilled and motivated
Physiotherapist to join our Burlington team at 1100 Burloak Dr #300, Burlington, ON.This is a part-time independent contractor position for
part-time with a potential to grow into more hours, ideal for a clinician looking to develop or apply their expertise within a specialized concussion care setting.You will work with a diverse caseload of patients (children and adults) experiencing concussion and post-concussion symptoms, collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, occupationaltherapists, physiotherapists, and psychologists.
1. Evidence-Based Patient Assessment & Treatment

Conduct thorough, individualized assessments for patients with concussion and post-concussion syndrome (PCS).

Develop and implement evidence-based physiotherapy treatment plans that support safe and effective recovery.
2. Concussion-Focused Physiotherapy Delivery
-
Apply specialized physiotherapy techniques to address vestibular, cervical, and functional impairments.

Continuously adapt treatment plans based on patient progress, symptoms, and clinical best practices.
3. Patient Education & Symptom Management

Provide clear, practical education to patients on concussion recovery, symptom management, and return-to-activity planning.

Empower patients with tools and strategies to support their recovery outside of clinical sessions.
4. Interdisciplinary Collaboration

Work closely with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.

Contribute to case discussions and shared treatment planning to optimize patient outcomes.
5. Clinical Documentation & Compliance

Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient records within the EMR system.

Ensure documentation reflects clinical findings, treatment plans, and patient progress.
6. Professional Development & Clinical Excellence

Engage in ongoing training and professional development specific to concussion rehabilitation.

Stay current with emerging research, clinical guidelines, and best practices.
7. Contribution to Research & Innovation (Optional)

Support or participate in clinical research initiatives related to concussion care.

Contribute to the advancement of evidence-based practices within the organization.

Registration in good standing with College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO)

Experience treating clients with concussion/post-concussion syndrome OR a strong interest in developing skills in this area

Knowledge of concussion rehabilitation resources and education materials is an asset
