Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Exterior Construction Worker to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of outdoor construction tasks focused on building, repairing, and maintaining exterior structures. Candidates should be comfortable working in outdoor environments and possess a strong work ethic. The position offers opportunities to develop hands-on skills in construction and carpentry, contributing to high-quality project completion.
Responsibilities
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform construction tasks efficiently and safely
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of exterior building components such as siding, roofing, and facades
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment necessary for construction projects
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure weatherproofing and insulation of structures
- Execute carpentry tasks including framing, trimming, and finishing work
- Conduct site clean-up and organize materials to maintain a safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Experience
- Prior construction experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with hand tools, carpentry, caulking, and blueprint reading is advantageous
- Handyman experience or related skills are considered a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in outdoor conditions
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to follow instructions are essential for success in this role
Pay: From $18.25 per hour
