Are you passionate about sharing the beauty of the Greek language and culture? We’re looking for an enthusiastic instructor to teach highly motivated adult professionals in a dynamic, supportive, and engaging environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Inspire learners through student-centered lessons based on the Communicative Language Teaching Approach.
- Teach speaking, listening, reading, writing, and comprehension while weaving in Greece’s rich cultural, social, economic, and geopolitical context.
- Follow the training plan (curriculum) while bringing your own creativity and authentic resources to the classroom.
- Use technology and multimedia tools to create varied and meaningful learning experiences.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors and contribute to a vibrant teaching community.
What We’re Looking For:
- A highly proficient speaker of the Greek language.
- A bachelor’s degree in linguistics, languages, literature, foreign language teaching, philology, or a related field (or at least 500 hours of teaching Greek to adults if the degree is in another field).
- Teaching experience with adult learners.
- A deep knowledge and appreciation of Greek culture.
- Proficiency in English and/or French (Canada’s official languages).
- Confidence in using technology, multimedia tools, and mobile devices to support learning.
- Willingness to take part in training and orientation sessions.
