Edulux is a growing tutoring and academic coaching company operating across Ontario and Quebec. We pride ourselves on the quality of our tutors and our commitment to every student's academic success. We are currently building our Toronto tutor team ahead of the 2026–2027 school year and are looking for motivated, reliable, and knowledgeable individuals to join us.

THE ROLE
As an Edulux tutor, you will provide personalized one-on-one tutoring sessions to students at the elementary, high school, or post-secondary level, depending on your area of expertise. You will work independently, on your own schedule, and according to your declared availability.
IMPORTANT: The majority of tutors recruited now will begin receiving student assignments starting in August and September 2026, aligned with the back-to-school period. We are recruiting early to build our roster and ensure you are fully prepared before the school year begins. If you apply today, expect a few weeks before your first assignment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver individual tutoring sessions (in-person or online) tailored to each student's needs and learning style
- Design and structure personalized lesson plans and a customized curriculum adapted to each student's level, goals, and pace of learning
- Prepare students for upcoming tests, assignments, and major evaluations
- Communicate regularly with the Edulux team to provide updates on assigned students
- Maintain a professional, punctual, and supportive presence at all times
- Respect the confidentiality of all student and family information

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Currently enrolled in university/cégep, a recent graduate, or a working professional
- Strong academic record in the subject(s) you are applying to teach
- Punctual, reliable, and self-directed
- Legally authorized to work in Canada

ASSETS (not required)
- Prior experience in tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or coaching
- Background in education or pedagogy
- Proficiency in high-demand subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English
- Familiarity with the Ontario curriculum (elementary and high school)

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Part-time and fully flexible, you set your own availability
- Compensation: $25–$35/hour depending on experience and subject
- In-person (student's home or agreed location) and/or online, based on your preference
- Independent contractor status
- Assignments begin: August–September 2026 for the majority of tutors
