Pandora Services is a Community Health Organization supporting individuals with disabilities, mental health challenges, and other specialized support needs. We provide personalized, person-centered care focused on dignity, independence, and community inclusion.
Community Support Workers (CSWs) provide personal, social, emotional, and practical support to individuals in their homes and community settings. You will work independently and collaboratively as part of a care team to support individualized care plans.
This role includes:
Direct personal care (Wheel chair, ceiling lift)
Community-based support
Home management
Documentation and reporting
Collaboration with families, care teams, and management
Supporting with direct personal care (Wheel chair, ceiling lift)
Assist with personal care (grooming, dressing, hygiene, toileting)
Support daily living skills and community engagement
Perform light household tasks (meal preparation, cleaning, grocery shopping)
Monitor and document behaviours, medications, and client progress
Complete daily charting and written reports
Advocate for individuals when appropriate
Follow individualized care plans and safety protocols
All new hires start as Casual while building their caseload

Benefits are available only to employees working 35+ hours per week on a continuous basis after 3 months of employment. Casual employees are not benefit-eligible.
This role requires driving between client locations.

Minimum 2 years experience as a Community Support Worker or in a closely related role providing one-to-one support
Demonstrated experience supporting individuals with mental health and/or personal care needs
Valid BC Non-restricted Class 5 Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check
Valid First Aid & CPR Level C
WHMIS Certification
FoodSafe Certification
Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Comfortable with digital documentation and technology
Experience using case management or electronic charting software
NVCI, MANDT, or other recognized crisis intervention training
Experience supporting individuals with complex behaviours or dual diagnoses
Familiarity with community-based or in-home support models
