Summary
We are seeking a skilled Hydrovac Operator to join our team in Winnipeg. In this role, you will play a vital part in our underground utility projects by safely operating hydrovac equipment to assist with excavation and utility installation tasks. Your expertise will help ensure the success of our projects and uphold our company's standards of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Operate hydrovac equipment safely and efficiently during excavation processes.
- Assist with underground utility installation and repair activities.
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Support other heavy equipment operations as needed.
- Drive Tandem Dump Truck on days that Hydrovac is not required
- Qualifications
- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE OPERATING A HYDROVAC AND WORKING SOLO. Please do not apply if you have not operated a hydrovac in the past.
- Valid Class 3A drivers license and a clean drivers abstract
- Strong knowledge of excavation safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and plans.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance is preferred.
- Experience with horizontal drilling or other underground utility work is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 50.0 per week
