We are seeking dedicated, detail-oriented, and collaborative individuals to join our team as Teacher Assistants for the 2025/26 sessions and future academic years. This is an excellent opportunity for those pursuing a career in education, particularly in secondary school teaching.
Position Details
- Job Status: Part-time / Internship
- Location: 7191 Yonge Street, Suite 901–907, Toronto, ON, L3T 0C4
- Duration: Up to 100 hours (flexible times)
- Availability: Immediate start
- Internship Type: Onsite and offsite options available
Important: This is an internship position that can lead to a paid Co-op Teacher Training position. Interns in the Teacher Internship Program who demonstrate strong teaching potential and skills may be hired as part of the Co-op program. The Co-op Teacher Training position is paid and lasts between 6–12 months.
Who Can Apply?
- Teacher Candidates currently enrolled in Teachers’ College
- Individuals planning to apply to Teachers’ College in the near future
- Candidates with prior experience in education or related fields (preferred)
You will work closely with a Teacher Associate, who will guide and train you in your chosen subject or field.

Key Responsibilities & Internship Benefits
- Learn and apply Ontario Ministry of Education policies, including Growing Success
- Practice using learning skills, success criteria, and developing AALs, AFLs, and AOLs
- Develop inclusive course content, student-friendly rubrics, and engaging lessons
- Record videos for your chosen course, subject, or field of study

- Mark student work under the guidance of your Teacher Associate, refining your grading skills
