Position Overview:
The Tow Dispatcher is essential to keeping our tow fleet running smoothly. You will coordinate tow trucks, plan routes, support drivers in real-time, and ensure operations meet safety and regulatory standards. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving logistical challenges.
The wage for this position is $60,000- $80,000 based on skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and dispatch tow drivers for pickups, deliveries, and emergency calls.
Optimize tow routes to maximize efficiency and reduce downtime.
Maintain constant communication with drivers and provide real-time support.
Monitor vehicle locations and performance using dispatch systems.
Ensure compliance with transportation laws, safety standards, and company policies.
Work closely with logistics and yard teams to coordinate daily operations.
Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to inquiries and updates.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience dispatching tow trucks
Knowledge of transportation regulations across Ontario and Quebec.
Proficiency with Google Workspace and dispatch/tracking software (e.g., FCRO, Fleetio, BigRoad, or Unity).
Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
