Job Overview:
We are looking for a certified Commercial Vehicle Mechanic to maintain our fleet.
In this role you will ensure our heavy trucks, trailers, and logistics vehicles remain safe, reliable, and compliant with all commercial road regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform full diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on Class 7 and 8 heavy commercial vehicles.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues, pneumatic air brakes, and hydraulic lift systems.
- Execute schedules Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program (CVIP) safety checks.
- Log all service details, parts orders, and compliance inspections into the shop management system.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as Heavy-Duty Truck Mechanic.
- Credential: Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician designation
- Licensing: Valid Alberta Driver's License with clean abstract.
- Tools: Must possess a personal set of standard hand tools and roll-cabinet suitable for heavy truck repair.
