About the Handyman opportunity:
Maintenance Expert: Own the maintenance, repair and upkeep of the property, including suite turnover, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting building systems, responding to work orders and ensuring all common areas remain safe, functional and well-maintained.
Resident Ambassador: Build strong relationships, deliver excellence with spotless cleaning of all common areas to address concerns and maintain resident satisfaction.
Safety Guru: As our frontline safety lead, proactively adhere to and apply health, fire and life safety measures.
What you need to succeed:
- 2 years’ experience in commercial or residential maintenance or related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Skilled Trades certification or mechanical background is an asset.
- Knowledge of basic hand tools for maintenance tasks.
- Basic proficiency with Computers.
- Well-developed English oral and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solver with proven ability to address concerns and achieve performance targets.
- Ability to lift 20 lbs. to 40 lbs. frequently.
- Highly organized and detailed-oriented with proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
