About the Role
We're looking for a motivated, hands-on Service Technician to join our growing team. This role covers the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of industrial equipment across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and PEI. No two days are the same — you'll work on everything from waste oil furnaces and pressure washers to car wash systems and water treatment equipment.
A significant part of this position involves travel to customer sites throughout the Maritimes, including overnight stays. To reflect that commitment, we pay an additional $6.00/hour on top of your base rate whenever you're on the road overnight — meaning you can earn up to $27.00/hour during travel periods.

What You'll Be Doing
- Installing and servicing industrial equipment including:
- EnergyLogic waste oil furnaces and boilers
- Landa hot and cold water pressure washers and parts washers
- Autec car wash systems
- Industrial fans, compressors, generators, and water pumps
- Building equipment mounts and setting up chimney systems in new and existing buildings
- Performing scheduled preventative maintenance and responding to emergency service calls
- Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Completing plumbing and steel piping work as required
- Performing minor construction and carpentry tasks related to installations
- Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders accurately
- Completing work orders, service reports, and hourly logs in an organized and timely manner
- Maintaining parts and equipment inventory in your company vehicle
- Operating company vehicles safely and responsibly
- Following all safety regulations, codes, and standards on every job
- Staying current with industry changes and new technology
What We're Looking For
- Experience in mechanical, plumbing, construction, or a related trade is a strong asset
- Familiarity with combustion or heating equipment is a strong asset
- Experience with car wash equipment or high-pressure cleaning systems is an asset
- Red Seal or trade certification is an asset — but not required; relevant hands-on experience is equally valued
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and stay organized on the road
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
- No criminal record
Work Conditions
- Extensive travel throughout Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and PEI is a core part of this role, including overnight stays
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs on an occasional basis
- Work takes place both indoors and outdoors, including active construction and industrial sites
- Overtime and on-call availability required during peak seasons
