Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic AI Technology Director to lead our organization's artificial intelligence initiatives and oversee the development, deployment, and management of AI-driven solutions. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of advanced IT systems, software development, and emerging AI technologies. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, ensure system security, and align AI projects with business objectives, fostering a collaborative environment across technical teams.
Duties
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for AI technology integration within the organization.
- Lead cross-functional teams in designing, developing, and deploying AI applications and solutions.
- Oversee the management of cloud infrastructure including AWS and Azure to support AI workloads.
- Manage system administration tasks related to virtualization (VMware, vSphere), network security (firewalls, VPNs), and server management (Windows Server, Linux).
- Ensure robust information security protocols are in place, including PCI compliance and disaster recovery plans.
- Coordinate with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, and SharePoint to track progress and facilitate communication.
- Implement DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using tools like PowerShell, SCCM, and SolarWinds for automation and deployment.
- Maintain oversight of databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and application development frameworks (.NET, C#, Java, Python) for scalable AI solutions.
- Establish vendor relationships for hardware/software procurement and manage vendor performance.
- Lead efforts in network infrastructure design including TCP/IP, Cisco routers, SAN storage solutions, and virtualized environments.
- Promote best practices in IT support, help desk operations, system engineering, and technical support services.
- Drive innovation through research on emerging AI trends such as machine learning models, APIs integration, virtualization technologies like Citrix and VMware vSphere.
Skills
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware vSphere), containerization (Docker), and network infrastructure (Cisco routers, TCP/IP).
- Proficiency in programming languages including Python, JavaScript, C#, HTML; familiarity with application development (.NET) frameworks.
- Expertise in databases such as SQL Server, Oracle; understanding of data management best practices.
- Deep understanding of IT security principles including network security measures like firewalls, VPNs; PCI compliance standards.
- Proven leadership in IT project management using tools like Microsoft Project; experience with Agile methodologies.
- Skilled in systems engineering concepts involving Windows Server environments, Linux systems, SAN storage solutions.
- Ability to manage disaster recovery plans and implement business continuity strategies.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate between technical teams and stakeholders effectively.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines; automation scripting with PowerShell.
- Familiarity with enterprise tools such as SharePoint, Jira for project tracking; SolarWinds for network monitoring; SCCM for system management. Pay: $14,000.00-$18,000.00 per month
