Here's the role
The Manager, Financial Integration leads the assessment and integration of business decisions into financial operations, driving compliant, well-controlled changes to systems and processes that enable the organization to achieve its strategic and regulatory objectives. It focuses on translating business activity into accurate financial outcomes, strengthening controls and compliance, and advancing continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the effectiveness of Finance and Financial Planning and Analysis in supporting the business.
Position Responsibilities
- Lead the automation, standardization, and simplification of financial processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Partner cross-functionally to understand evolving business needs and design, enhance, and implement processes that enable effective decision making and execution.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies by embedding compliance into processes and systems.
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization's internal control framework.
- Drive the development and enhancement of financial accounting policies, procedures and practices to support accurate and timely reporting.
- Lead reporting on the progress and outcomes of business transformation initiatives, ensuring visibility, accountability, and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities, leading initiatives, and embedding a culture of operational excellence.

EducationExperience
- Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) or equivalent depth of accounting knowledge.
- Demonstrated experience leading system implementations, enhancements, or process automation initiatives.
- Proven ability to bridge finance and technology, working effectively with IT to design, configure, and optimize systems.
- Strong understanding of procedure development, internal controls, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- 5+ years of experience leading across finance or technical teams.
- Insurance industry experience would be an asset.
