We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and goal-driven Door-to-Door Solar Appointment Setter to join our growing team. In this role, you will engage directly with homeowners, introduce the benefits of solar energy solutions, and set qualified appointments for our Solar Consultants. This is a high-energy, customer-facing position ideal for individuals who enjoy meeting new people, working independently, and earning uncapped commissions based on performance.
The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, confidence in face-to-face interactions, and a positive attitude. Previous experience in door-to-door sales, appointment setting, retail sales, or customer service is an asset, but we are willing to train motivated individuals who are eager to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Canvass residential neighborhoods door-to-door to generate interest in solar energy solutions
- Engage homeowners professionally and confidently to introduce company products and services
- Educate potential customers on the benefits of solar energy, energy savings, and available programs
- Set qualified appointments for Solar Consultants with interested homeowners
- Build rapport quickly and handle objections effectively during conversations
- Maintain accurate records of leads, appointments, and customer interactions
- Meet or exceed daily and weekly appointment-setting goals
- Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-focused attitude
- Work independently while contributing to overall team performance and sales targets
- Attend team meetings and ongoing sales training sessions to improve performance and product knowledge
- Utilize time management and organizational skills to maximize productivity in assigned territories
Requirements
- Previous experience in door-to-door sales, appointment setting, retail sales, customer service, or direct marketing preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, outgoing, and comfortable speaking with homeowners face-to-face
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to handle rejection professionally and remain motivated
- Reliable transportation is preferred
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are considered an asset
- Must be comfortable working outdoors and walking for extended periods
