WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Reporting to the Clinical Lead, Virtual Care, the Nurse Practitioner will:
- Assess and manage acute and chronic health conditions through virtual care, including diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, counselling, screening, education, and referral
- Promote health education, disease prevention, and health equity across diverse patient populations
- Apply current evidence-based guidelines to improve patient outcomes across the continuum of care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
- Contribute to the development of virtual care policies, clinical protocols, and quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in program evaluation, research activities, and continuous quality improvement
- Provide clinical leadership and act as a resource to other healthcare professionals
- Support the advancement of professional practice standards within a virtual care environment
- Practice in accordance with Saskatchewan scope of practice and regulatory standards
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Current registration, in good standing, as a Nurse Practitioner with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
- Active licensure as a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner (NP-PHC) in Saskatchewan (additional provincial licensure considered an asset)
- Minimum 3–5 years of Nurse Practitioner experience in primary care, virtual care, or urgent care settings
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of Saskatchewan healthcare systems, referral pathways, and community resources
- Understanding of applicable provincial legislation, including The Health Information Protection Act (HIPA)
- Ability to work independently in a virtual environment and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
- Excellent communication, organizational, and digital/EMR skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care, quality improvement, and professional development
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
The rate reflects the starting compensation for this position. The final compensation rate offered will be determined based on a holistic assessment of the candidate’s experience, education, training, licensure status, and alignment with the role’s expectations.
Pay: From $80.00 per hour
