Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team and assist with a variety of outdoor landscaping and maintenance projects. This role involves working outdoors in different weather conditions to create and maintain beautiful, functional landscapes for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance, along with the ability to operate various tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other greenery
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning
- Operate equipment such as excavators, power tools, and hand tools to complete various landscaping projects
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes
- Prepare soil beds, spread mulch, and perform soil conditioning activities
- Support construction activities related to landscape features like patios, walkways, or retaining walls
- Conduct routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols at all times during outdoor work activities
Skills
- Experience or familiarity with gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating excavators, irrigation systems, and power tools
- Proficiency with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks
- Knowledge of construction practices related to outdoor projects is a plus
- Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with attention to detail and safety consciousness

Contract length: 7 months
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
