We’re Hiring!
We are currently looking to fill a full-time, permanent position for a Trials Data Clerk at our Leamington ON facility.
What You'll Do:
-
Assist with the harvesting of the trial crops when necessary.

Weigh and count the picked fruit and enter the data into an Excel spreadsheet.

Perform quality checks on preharvest product in the trial areas.

Inspect the fruit’s shape, colour, firmness, aging, cracking etc. and enter the data into an Excel spreadsheet.

Collect data on different varieties and ensuring the data is accurate.

Must comply with all Health and Safety, Food Safety, Bio Security, and Nature Fresh Policies and Procedures.

What You Bring:

Strong understanding of Microsoft Office 365, specifically Excel is required.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately maintain records.

Strong organizational skills

Must be good with numbers.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Commitment to continuous learning

Must be able to differentiate colours.

High degree of confidentiality in regard to job-related matters.
What To Expect:

Working with a diverse group of people in a team setting but also working independently.

Working at heights and utilizing a scissor cart
-
The greenhouse may be hot, wet, humid, or cold at any time during the year. There may be various insects/pests in the greenhouse
-
The Trials Data Clerk is expected to report to work Monday-Saturday, 44-50 hours per week
-
The day may consist of walking, bending, crouching, and sitting; but mainly standing throughout the day.

Some heavy lifting: 25-30 lbs

Ability to utilize and pull a scissor cart
-
Must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
