East Coast Diesel is looking for a full-time parts Clerk. We are a truck service centre located in Mississauga, Ontario.
Job Description:
The (Parts Clerk) will assist in maintaining Parts Room inventory control (inventory levels, cycle counts, etc.), parts Issuing/receiving, stocking items and parts pick up when required.
Our operating hours are from Monday to Saturday (7 AM - 7 PM). Flexibility in scheduling is a requirement.
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Receive parts and enter into inventory
- Stocking and organizing the parts room
- Sourcing and ordering parts as required
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Part labeling and stocking shelves
- Issuing parts to Mechanics
- Daily review of warranty parts, stock returns and core parts
- Maintaining special order parts
- Various other parts room activities
- Monitor / Correct Invoices
- Keeping the parts rooms clean and tidy
Qualifications:
- Some knowledge in Truck & Trailer parts would be an asset
- Basic computer skills required
- Quickbooks knowledge is an asset (not a requirement)
