Job Summary
As the Kitchen Manager, you would be reporting directly to the General Manager and working collaboratively with the restaurant staff to deliver outstanding food and memorable experiences to our guests. If you carry the hospitality gene and find this opportunity exciting we want to meet you!
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring adherence to standardized recipes and specifications in order to maintain consistency and ensure quality standards are met
- Ensures that all food products are handled, stored, prepared and served safely in accordance with Food safety Guidelines
- Keeping over production of food and waste to a minimum, ensuring proper rotation, labeling and storing of all food products
- Ensure kitchen is clean, organized and all equipment is in good working order
- Responsible all orders and inventories pertaining to the kitchen
- Responsible for creating the schedule for kitchen staff
- Maintain a positive and safe work environment for all team members
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience management experience in a comparable restaurant environment
- Food Handlers certification
- Previous experience with scheduling
- Knowledge of managing budgets, labour and food costs
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Compensation
- Expected Wage: $ 23.00 to $25.00 per hour
