Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Server to join our dynamic restaurant team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a thorough understanding of food and beverage operations. As a Lead Server, you will oversee daily service, ensure guest satisfaction, and support the team in delivering an outstanding dining experience. Duties
- Supervise and assist servers to ensure smooth restaurant operations during each shift
- Provide excellent guest services by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing customer needs promptly
- Manage POS transactions using Volante POS system, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling procedures
- Assist with food preparation when necessary and coordinate with kitchen staff to meet guest expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including table setup and sanitation practices
- Train new staff members on service procedures, POS usage, and hospitality standards
- Handle guest complaints professionally and resolve issues efficiently to maintain high satisfaction levels
- Support team members in managing time effectively during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and food handling procedures
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with excellent time management skills
- Experience in guest services, serving, or hospitality roles demonstrating professionalism and customer focus
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling transactions
- Leadership experience or prior supervisory roles in the food industry are highly desirable
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus

Pay: $17.60-$35.00 per hour
