About the Role
Do you love being organized and helping people get back on the road (or trail)? We are looking for a Parts Manager to join our team.
Managing a Powersports Parts department is about more than just knowing the difference between a winch and a windshield. It’s a high-energy role that requires a blend of inventory logistics, sales leadership, and a passion for the lifestyle.
You will be responsible for assisting DIY customers and our internal service department in sourcing the right components to keep machines on the dirt, street, or snow. This is a fast-paced role that rewards technical curiosity and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Parts Consultation: Assist customers via phone and in-person to identify, locate, and order the correct parts using electronic parts catalogs (EPC).
- Service Department Support: Work closely with our service team to ensure they have the necessary parts for repair orders, reducing "down-time" for customer units.
- Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure a high "fill rate" while minimizing aged or obsolete stock.
- Vendor Relations: Manage orders with OEMs (Kawasaki, Polaris, CFmoto, Suzuki, Arctic Cat etc.) and aftermarket distributors.
- Shipping/Receiving: Oversee the accuracy of incoming shipments and ensure the service department gets their parts on time.
- Merchandising: Maintain and stock "hard part" displays (filters, oils, batteries, tires) to ensure a professional showroom appearance.
- Technical Aptitude: Experience with powersports (Motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs) or automotive parts is highly preferred. We do provide in house training for someone enthusiastic about powersports and customer care.
- Systems Proficiency: Ability to navigate digital parts diagrams and use a Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Organization: A "place for everything" mindset. You’ll be managing thousands of SKUs.
- Customer Service: The ability to stay calm and helpful during the busy "peak" riding seasons.
- Physical Ability: Comfortable being on your feet and able to lift up to 50 lbs (tires, batteries, etc.).
- Drive Revenue: Meet and exceed monthly sales targets for retail, wholesale, and internal (service) parts.
Benefits
- Competitive salary $55k–$70k DOE.
- RSP Plan available after 6 months employment.
- Training and certification opportunities for specific brands.
- Employee discounts on parts, accessories, and units.
