The Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency (SAMA) is an independent agency that develops and administers property assessment policy for the province, and provides property appraisal services to over 750 of Saskatchewan’s urban and rural municipalities.
About the Opportunity
The successful candidate will join SAMA’s Assessment Services Division (ASD) as an Administrative Assistant in this full-time term position. Reporting to the Executive Assistant of the Assessment Services Division, the incumbent will perform various administrative duties and data entry.
What You’ll Do
- Greet clients and visitors and answer central office phone lines.
- Process incoming and outgoing courier packages and other mail correspondence.
- Typing, filing, and scanning of business-specific documentation.
- Receive and provide support for external enquiries regarding SAMAView and property profile requests.
- Perform administrative support for various committees and projects.
- Enter data into the Agency's computer system.
- Perform other duties as required.
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma although preference may be given to post-secondary education.
- One (1) year administrative-related experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office and its software (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Proficient keyboarding/data entry skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
