About the role
Edmonton Trailer is looking to add a Full-Time Heavy Duty Equipment Technician who brings positivity and is eager to learn.
Job Description
A Heavy Duty Equipment Technician is responsible for the repairs and maintenance of a wide variety of equipment, while being cognizant of schedules and deadlines. This role works along with shop foreman and fellow employees.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conducting minor to major repairs to truck and trailers.
- Inspections and repairs on all Heavy Duty Oilfield, Logging, bulk and tanker equipment.
- Responsible for the repair and servicing a wide variety of equipment.
- Ensure that the shop facilities are maintained to be safe, clean, and efficient.
- Carefully inspect work after it is completed and work with the Shop Foreman to verify that it is compliant and meets regulatory requirements.
- Manage and maintain a work environment that promotes safety, respect and professionalism. Ensuring a cooperative relationship is maintained between all employees.
- Strong organizational, problem solving, attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
- Record detailed notes for each piece of equipment worked on.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician.
- Current CVIP License is an asset.
- Class 1 driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $33.00-$48.00 per hour
