Job Summary
Johnston Meier Insurance has a position available at their Lougheed Mall office in Burnaby for a Licensed Auto Insurance Advisor. If you have great communication and interpersonal skills, a General Insurance Level 1 License, and minimum 1 year of insurance office experience, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients
- Build customer portfolios
- Provide optional coverage quotes
- Cross sell other products provided by Johnston Meier Insurance Agencies Group (JMIAG)
- Keep detailed notes on our Computer System at all times (Paperless Environment)
- Follow company procedures as provided

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- Minimum Level 1 General Insurance Salesperson License
- Minimum 1 year of insurance office experience
- Personal Lines insurance experience an asset
- Good understanding of ICBC Autoplan and ability to navigate in ICBC Broker Connect & Policy Center
- Batching & billing experience
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service
- Flexible in job duties and/or hours as necessary
- Company portal knowledge an asset
- Good computer skills
