Pay: CA$20.00–CA$22.00 per hour
Join the Team at High Road Vancouver BMW DUCATI
High Road Vancouver BMW DUCATI is one of Canada's premier motorcycle dealerships and we're looking for an energetic, dependable Shop Assistant to join our team.
We go beyond the surface… our purpose is:
"Connecting people and promoting life experiences through motorcycling."
Motorcycling isn't just transportation—it's adventure, community, exploration and unforgettable experiences. Every member of our team plays an important role in making those experiences possible.
Surrounded by two of the world's most exciting motorcycle brands, our dealership has built a reputation for exceptional customer service, a strong workplace culture and a passion for motorcycles. If you enjoy staying active, working with your hands, and being part of a fast-paced team, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Shop Assistant, you'll help keep our dealership operating efficiently every day. You'll move motorcycles and equipment safely, maintain an organized and professional-looking facility, support our technicians and sales staff, and ensure our customers always arrive at a clean, welcoming dealership.
No two days are exactly the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in getting things done.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport motorcycles, parts and other products between our dealership locations and customer locations.
- Move, stage and organize motorcycles throughout the dealership.
- Maintain an organized and professional appearance of the lot, shop and storage areas.
- Wash motorcycles and dealership vehicles as required.
- Assist technicians, sales staff and other departments with day-to-day operational needs.
- Receive, move and organize incoming deliveries.
- Perform general labour and miscellaneous dealership tasks as required.
- Help create an exceptional first impression for every customer who visits our dealership.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, positive and enjoys working as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual and takes pride in doing quality work.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Confident moving motorcycles safely (or willing to learn if you have previous riding experience).
- Organized, self-motivated and willing to jump in wherever needed.
Requirements
- Valid B.C. Class 5 or Class 7 Driver's Licence.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to safely operate and move motorcycles.
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is considered an asset.
- Motorcycle licence (Class 6) is considered an asset but is not required.
A passion for motorcycles isn't mandatory—but it certainly helps. If you're dependable, eager to learn and enjoy being around great people, we'll introduce you to an incredible industry.
