Hanover & District Hospital (HDH) works with its partners to provide a full range of primary acute care hospital services and selected secondary services to meet the needs of the population of Hanover and the surrounding rural townships. HDH provides the people we service access to the care they need through 24/7 Emergency Department, Acute Care Unit (inclusive of medical/surgical beds and multipurpose ICU beds), Physiotherapy Program, Surgical Services Department, Family Centered Birthing Unit, Hemodialysis Unit, Palliative Care Services and Ambulatory Clinics.

Our registered nurses cross train between Acute and OB providing them with a diverse work experience and expanded skill set. We offer a challenging experience that will allow you to work to your full scope of practice. We have a dynamic energetic team that work together to provide the best care for our patients.

HOURS – Currently Days/Nights, 12 hour shifts, including weekends and statutory holidays. (Subject to change in accordance to operational needs).
WAGE RANGE - $41.15 - $58.98

YOU HAVE:
- Registered and Current Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses of Ontario;
- Must have current certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS;
- NRP required or willing obtain within 6 months;
- TNCC, Coronary Care - Level 1 and CTAS an asset
- Maternal Clinical and Electronic Fetal Monitoring course an asset
- Recent experience in medical/surgical nursing and special care;
- Ability and willingness to ensure patient safety;
- Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, decision making, organizational and interpersonal skills required;
- Understanding and compliance with Occupational Health and Safety;
- Must be self-directed with ability to work with minimal supervision; and
- Satisfactory work performance and attendance record.
