We are currently seeking an Interior Designer / Estimator to join our Brampton-based millwork division.
Job Purpose
The Millwork Project Manager plays a key role in overseeing the full lifecycle of custom millwork projects from planning, budgeting, and procurement to production, delivery, and site installation. This position requires a strong understanding of millwork detailing, fabrication techniques, and project coordination. The Project Manager ensures that all phases are executed according to design specifications, timelines, and quality expectations, while maintaining positive communication with clients, internal teams, and subcontractors.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate millwork projects from start to finish according to scope, drawings, schedule, and budget
· Interpret architectural drawings and coordinate with drafting and production teams
· Collaborate with clients, designers, and site supervisors to align expectations and timelines
· Prepare and maintain project schedules and monitor progress against milestones
· Prepare and submit accurate project estimates and budgets
· Monitor project costs and ensure delivery within target margins
· Manage procurement of materials, hardware, and subcontracted services
· Approve vendor invoices and ensure timely delivery of components
· Ensure all millwork projects meet internal and client schedules, quality benchmarks, and budget goals
· Oversee production timelines, delivery coordination, and on-site installation readiness
· Maintain documentation, track progress, and issue weekly reports to clients and stakeholders
Qualifications & Skills:
· 3–5 years of experience in Millwork Project Management in Canada (custom commercial/residential millwork)
· Strong knowledge of millwork materials, fabrication techniques, hardware, and finishes
· Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings
· Certification in Project Management or equivalent experience preferred
· Familiarity with Ontario Building Code and health and safety regulations
· Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
· Proficient in MS Project, Excel, and industry software (AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision, or similar an asset)
· Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
· Ability to lead teams and problem-solve on-site and in production
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
