Experienced Security Officers Wanted
Apex Core Protection is seeking experienced Security Professionals to join our growing team for premium residential and private property security assignments in the Halifax Regional Municipality.
We're looking for professionals who understand that security is more than simply standing a post—it's about professionalism, awareness, communication, and protecting what matters most.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Nova Scotia Security Guard License (or willing to obtain one)
- Reliable transportation
- Professional appearance and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Highly Preferred:
- 10+ years of security experience (strong asset)
- Military experience
- Veterans are encouraged to apply
- Law enforcement or corrections experience considered an asset
- First Aid/CPR certification considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Access control
- Visitor and contractor screening
- Foot patrols
- Property observations
- Incident response
- Electronic report writing
- Maintaining a professional and discreet security presence
