Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is vital in supporting daily office operations, ensuring smooth communication, and maintaining efficient administrative processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent organizational abilities, and experience with office management tools. Prior experience in an recreation administrative office is a plus, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace. Responsibilities
- Manage front desk duties including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Maintain organized filing systems both electronically and physically
- Support bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks and handle basic invoicing or billing tasks
- Assist with scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and supporting client needs
- Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, mailing, and maintaining office supplies
Requirements
- Proven administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
- Experience with QuickBooks or bookkeeping is desirable
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills for front desk interactions
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently and professionally
- Good proofreading skills to ensure error-free documents
- Familiarity with filing systems and document management practices
- Strong computer skills including typing speed and proficiency in office equipment usage

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
