A Reach Operator (often called a Reach Truck Operator) is responsible for safely operating a reach truck to move, store, and retrieve materials in warehouses and distribution centers.
Job Duties:
- Operate a reach truck to transport pallets and materials.
- Load and unload products from racks, shelves, and trucks.
- Pick and stage orders accurately according to work instructions.
- Stack and store products safely at various heights.
- Inspect the reach truck before each shift and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with stock control.
- Use scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid reach truck or forklift certification .
- Previous experience operating a reach truck (typically 6 months to 2 years).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) or more, as required.
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
