Position Summary
Blomidon Nurseries is hiring a Shipping & Delivery Coordinator to support our wholesale and retail delivery operations.
This is a hands-on, full-time seasonal role from March to December. It is suited for someone who is organized, reliable, comfortable working outdoors, and able to help keep customer orders and deliveries moving smoothly.

About the Role
In this role, you will help organize outgoing orders, support delivery planning, communicate with customers and team members, and make sure plant material is counted, staged, loaded, and shipped accurately.
This is an entry-level to junior coordination role. Formal logistics management experience is not required.
Main Duties
- Help organize wholesale and retail deliveries.
- Count and verify customer orders before loading.
- Help stage, load, unload, and prepare orders for shipping.
- Contact customers to confirm delivery details and placement instructions.
- Communicate with drivers, carriers, and team members.
- Coordinate with outside carriers.
- Wrap skids and prepare orders for carrier pickup when needed.
- Help update orders to reflect what was actually shipped.
- Identify plant material that may be unhealthy or unsuitable for shipping.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to count accurately and follow instructions.
- Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions.
- Able to perform physical work, including walking, lifting, loading, and handling nursery stock.
- Basic plant knowledge.
Assets
- Nursery, Garden Centre, landscaping, farming, warehouse, shipping, or delivery experience.
