Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Tattoo Studio Manager to lead our vibrant studio team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and foster a creative and professional environment. Your leadership will drive sales growth, maintain high standards of hygiene and safety, and support our talented tattoo artists in delivering outstanding work. Responsibilities
- Manage daily studio operations, including scheduling appointments, supervising staff, and maintaining a clean, safe environment
- Oversee retail sales activities, including merchandising, pricing strategies, and product purchasing to maximize revenue
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, managing phone etiquette, and ensuring a positive studio experience
- Supervise cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) transactions, and store management duties with precision and integrity
- Develop marketing initiatives to promote the studio’s services through social media, local outreach, and promotional events
- Train and develop team members in sales techniques, customer engagement, safety protocols, and technical skills
- Monitor inventory levels for supplies and merchandise; coordinate purchasing to optimize stock levels while controlling costs
- Maintain organizational efficiency through effective time management, communication skills, and leadership that inspires teamwork
Qualifications
- Proven supervising or store management experience within retail or service environments
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team of artists and staff
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clients
- Experience in recruiting, training & development, budgeting, and payroll management
- Knowledge of POS systems, merchandising strategies, pricing techniques, and cash handling procedures
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping and administrative tasks
- Customer service-oriented mindset with exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene standards in a tattoo studio setting
