Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, developing, and implementing personalized treatment plans to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall well-being. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical conditions and functional abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and clinical best practices
- Implement therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercises, and modalities to facilitate recovery
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, management strategies, and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and clinical records
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care
- Stay updated on the latest physiotherapy techniques and medical terminology to enhance treatment efficacy
Requirements
- Valid license or certification as a licensed Physiotherapist
- Prior hospital experience preferred, especially in acute care or pediatrics settings
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practice
- Experience in patient care with a compassionate approach toward diverse populations including children and adults
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to healthcare regulations
Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
