About the Role:
Part-Time (Weekdays, Evenings & Weekends)
We are seeking an energetic, creative, and customer-focused individual to join our growing family entertainment and children's activity centre. This role combines front desk responsibilities, sales & customer service, children's programming, birthday party support, and general facility operations.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, is comfortable interacting with parents, and can confidently lead creative activities such as painting, crafts, and workshops. This position is perfect for someone studying education, child and youth work, recreation, early childhood education, arts, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities ,Front Desk & Customer Service:
- Welcome and assist families in a friendly and professional manner
- Check in guests and process admissions
- Answer phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries
- Assist with registrations, bookings, and program information
- Promote programs, camps, workshops, memberships, and birthday parties
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
Children's Activities & Workshops
- Lead and facilitate painting workshops, crafts, and hands-on activities
- Engage children in a positive, encouraging, and safe environment
- Set up and organize activity materials and supplies
- Support special events, camps, and educational programs
- Encourage participation, creativity, and teamwork
Birthday Parties & Event Support
- Assist with party setup, hosting support, and cleanup
- Help coordinate activities and ensure a positive guest experience
- Support families and children during events
- Maintain organized and welcoming party spaces
Facility Operations
- Keep play, activity, and common areas clean and presentable
- Clean and reset party rooms and activity spaces
- Restock supplies and materials as needed
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Support the team with general operational duties
Qualifications
- Experience working with children is preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable leading small groups of children
- Creative, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Experience in sales, hospitality, recreation, childcare, education, camps, or customer service is considered an asset

Schedule
- Primarily afternoons, evenings, and weekends

Compensation
Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
