Pipe Layers & Helpers
Our client is looking for a Labourer / Pipe Layer Helper to join them in their established underground utilities company serving Calgary and surrounding areas. The company specializes in underground water, sewer, and storm service installations for residential infill developments and small commercial construction projects.
The successful candidate will support pipe laying crews on job sites, assist with site preparation and cleanup, and help maintain safe and efficient operations in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities
- Assist pipe laying crews with underground water, sewer, and storm installations
- Perform shoveling, raking, and general labour duties on construction sites
- Help prepare and maintain proper pipe bedding and backfill areas
- Cut and prepare piping materials to required specifications
- Set up traffic barricades, fencing, and site safety controls
- Maintain clean and organized job sites free of debris and hazards
- Provide support with flagging duties and hand signals when required
- Follow company safety procedures and safe work practices at all times
- Support crews with loading, lifting, and moving materials and equipment

Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in construction or underground utility work
- Experience as a labourer or pipe layer helper preferred
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and performing manual labour
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work long hours, overtime, and occasional weekends
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Strong understanding of job site safety practices
- CSA-approved safety boots
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites within Calgary

Pay: Up to $32.00 per hour
