Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fire and Sprinkler System Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals interested in technical sales, pre-sales support, and the fire protection industry. The successful candidate will assist in promoting our fire and sprinkler systems, support the sales process, and contribute to customer engagement. This position offers valuable experience in sales, technical consulting, and project coordination within a growing industry sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Fire Alarm and Fire Sprinkler Sales team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Answer customer calls and emails, and direct inquiries to the appropriate team member.
- Schedule appointments, site visits, and follow-up meetings for the sales team.
- Keep customer files and sales documents organized and up to date.
- Follow up on quotes and assist customers with general questions.
- Coordinate with technicians, suppliers, and office staff to help keep projects moving.
- Assist with purchase orders and other sales-related paperwork.
- Help with filing, data entry, and general office duties as needed.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in an office, administrative, customer service, or sales support role is an asset.
- Experience in the fire protection, construction, or trades industry is helpful but not required.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable communicating with customers.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to learn new processes and work as part of a team.
- Available to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
