Overview
A leading industrial/mining operation is seeking a Mining Engineer, Structural/Civil to join its Engineering team in Goderich, Ontario. This full-time permanent position will support structural assessments, infrastructure upgrades, and capital projects within a large underground mining environment.
The role involves structural design and analysis for conveyors, foundations, transfer systems, and industrial infrastructure while working closely with operations, maintenance, contractors, and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- P.Eng. designation required
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience
- Experience with industrial structural design and infrastructure projects
- Proficient with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Mining or heavy industrial experience
- Soft rock mining experience
- Experience with underground infrastructure and mining regulations
Pay: $110,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
