Controls Engineer/Technologist
Job Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing-focused Controls Engineer or Technologist who will participate as part of a team in the development and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes in machine, fabrication, weld, assembly, paint, material handling, and automation. Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Leader of Technology, this role focuses on the developing and maintaining production test equipment to verify quality and supporting automated manufacturing. This role works closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Tool Development, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Design Engineering, and Quality.

Academic/Educational Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Engineering or Technology program in Electrical, Controls, Mechatronics, Automation, Mechanical, or equivalent experience.

Eligibility for EGM or CTTAM registration.
Required Skills/Experience
-
Must possess excellent presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Experience with PLC-based automation systems. Preferred experience with Allen Bradley and Beckhoff.

Strong background in mechanical/hydraulic/electrical systems is an asset

Project management experience is an asset.
