Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote early childhood education principles.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment for all children.
- Observe and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's development and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with families.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their curiosity and love for learning.
- Incorporate bilingual education strategies when applicable, supporting language development in both English and other languages.
- Utilize time management skills to effectively plan daily activities while ensuring flexibility to accommodate children's needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting is essential.
- Knowledge of special education practices is a plus; experience working with persons with disabilities is highly valued.
- Strong time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Ability to write detailed reports and maintain organized documentation of student progress.
- Proficiency in computerized systems for record keeping and lesson planning.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply; proficiency in French or other languages is an asset.
