Role Summary:
We are seeking an Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Norman Wells, Northwest Territories. Charter Flights will be provided from Edmonton, Alberta.You will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on industrial projects/sites.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components.

Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
-
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform corrective actions.

Ensure all work complies with electrical code, safety regulations, and company policies.

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
-
Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
-
Collaborate with other trades and contractors on job sites.
-
Complete documentation, work orders, and reports as required.
-
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
-
Other duties as required.
Qualifications / Requirements:
-
Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal certification preferred).
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance electrical work on a live plant.

Experience in industrial construction electrical work
-
Electrical planning experience required
-
Valid H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED),CSTS 2020, ESTS.
-
Pre-access drug and alcohol test required
-
Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements.
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
-
Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment.

Valid driver's license
-
Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends, with a strong focus on safety and self-direction
-
Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.
Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience and certification.

Shift is 15 days on, 13 days off
-
12 hour days

Flights based out of Edmonton

Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate.
