Job Summary
Washko Mats is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. The primary focus of this role is warehouse operations, including receiving, organizing, cleaning, and preparing products for delivery. The successful candidate may occasionally be required to perform customer deliveries and pick-ups using a company vehicle and must possess a valid G Class driver's licence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, inspect, and process incoming merchandise and materials.
- Clean and prepare mats and related products for customer use.
- Pick, pack, and stage customer orders for delivery.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare skids and shipments for deliveries.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Occasionally perform customer deliveries and pick-ups using a company vehicle.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario G Class Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Valid Forklift Certification and forklift operating experience.
- Previous warehouse experience (1–2 years preferred).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic computer and data-entry skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable, reliable, and safety-conscious.
- Strong communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs. (23 kg).
- Occasionally lift and move heavier items with appropriate equipment or assistance.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
