At Just Like Family, we are a family of Caregivers. We know how demanding and rewarding the job can be. We care for our Caregivers so that they can care for our Clients with compassion and integrity.
The Job
We are looking for caring Companions and PSWs to provide in-community support to families in the far west end of Ottawa. Our team is building a caring community in the neighbourhoods of Fitzroy Harbour, Dunrobin, Constance Bay, Woodlawn, and Kinburn. Who You Are
You are a professional Caregiver who is dedicated to making daily living easier for seniors and those living with illness or disability.
You can provide us with
- a clear up-to-date Vulnerable Sector report
- a CPR certificate
- references who will confirm the quality of your previous work in a professional care environment
You have your own transportation. You are a pet-positive person. You are happy to lend a hand with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
Certifications are an asset but not required (PSW, DSW, LEAF, GPA, etc).
Pay: $21.90-$25.00 per hour
