Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete finishing, heavy lifting, and using various power and hand tools to assist in concrete projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of worksites for concrete pouring
- Perform heavy lifting and carrying of materials
- Use power tools and hand tools for cutting, shaping, and finishing concrete
- Support carpenters and other team members in building forms for concrete structures
- Apply mechanical knowledge to operate equipment effectively
- Assist in concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing, leveling, and sealing surfaces
- Work on tasks related to flooring installation, drywall, and other construction duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in concrete work or related field preferred
- Ability to perform heavy physical work and lift up to 50 pounds
- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools
- Knowledge of concrete installation techniques and processes
- Experience with carpentry or mechanical work is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
