Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Behaviour Therapist for an immediate opportunity supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in a structured and collaborative environment.
This role requires a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who is currently certified and registered and is authorized to develop, review, and approve Behaviour Support Plans, including plans containing intrusive measures.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct behavioural assessments and develop individualized Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs)
- Review, approve, and monitor Behaviour Support Plans, including plans containing intrusive measures
- Provide clinical oversight and behavioural consultation to frontline staff
- Develop and implement evidence-based behavioural interventions
- Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) and analyze behavioural data
- Monitor client progress and modify intervention plans as required
- Ensure compliance with Ontario quality assurance standards and funder requirements
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, multidisciplinary teams, and community partners
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports
- Provide training and coaching to staff on behaviour support strategies and best practices
Qualifications
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (Required)
- Must be currently registered and authorized to approve Behaviour Support Plans, including plans containing intrusive measures
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, Applied Behaviour Analysis, Education, Social Work, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or developmental disabilities
- Experience developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans
- Experience conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs)
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
- Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain before start)
