JOB SUMMARY
- Collect, assemble and pack painted and other component parts according to requirements
- Inspect for external defect and assure the completeness of the order assembled.
ABOUT THE POSITION
- Works under normal supervision
- Works from detailed oral or written instructions; shop orders, detail assembly drawings, paint lists
- Responsible for the quality and quantity of the assigned work
- Required to complete all reporting functions for the assigned work orders
- Required to follow all safety rules and procedures
- Required to comply with all quality processes and documentation requirements
TOOLS & EQUIPMENT
- Hand tools such as screwdrivers, hammers, wrenches, scales, portable power tools, tape guns, nail guns, etc.
- Measuring devices such as measuring tapes, Vernier, scales, etc.
SCOPE OF WORK & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- Required to assemble and/or pack all types of product.
- Check all parts for defects and report any shortages and defects.
- Assist others in the performance of similar tasks.
- Additional duties as assigned.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Basic computer skills
- Good written/oral communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Bending, reaching, lifting 50lbs repetitively
- Ability to lift or move various sizes and weights of products
COMPENSATION
- Day Shift: 7:00am-3:00pm Monday To Friday
- Afternoon Shift: 3:30pm-1:30am Monday To Thursday
- Starting Wage: $24.14/hr
- $1.00/hr Shift Premium for afternoons
- Overtime paid after 40 hrs
- Paid Weekly
