Overview
Brixel Robotics is an educational robotics and technology center working with children ages 4–16 through hands-on robotics, coding, AI, and STEM programs. We are looking for an energetic, responsible, and passionate instructor to join our growing team for Summer Camp and ongoing classes.
Duties
- Teach robotics, coding, and programming classes for children and teens
- Support and lead summer camp activities and daily classroom management
- Teach beginner to intermediate programming concepts including C language and Python
- Help students build confidence through hands-on projects and teamwork
- Prepare and organize class materials and activities
- Maintain a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
- Communicate professionally with staff and parents when needed
- Support competitions, workshops, and special STEM events
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of robotics, coding languages (such as Scratch, Python, or similar), and STEM concepts
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Passion for working with children and fostering their interest in technology and innovation
- Ability to create fun, interactive lesson plans that inspire curiosity and learning
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for engaging young learners in STEM activities
- Previous teaching, tutoring, camp, or coaching experience is preferred
Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
