We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Cosmetics Sales Associate to join our team. You will engage with customers, assist them in selecting the right products, and ensure an enjoyable shopping experience.
Duties
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of cosmetics.
- Provide personalized recommendations based on customer needs and preferences.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising.
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Manage inventory levels and assist with restocking as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism.
- Maintain knowledge of current trends in cosmetics and beauty products.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele.
- Experience in retail sales, particularly in cosmetics or beauty products.
- Familiarity with technology sales and technical sales concepts is beneficial.
- Ability to conduct product demos confidently to educate customers.
- Proficient in basic math for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain store appearance.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
