Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Dental Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive dental office experience, and proficiency with dental management software. This role is vital in ensuring smooth administrative processes, excellent patient service, and effective team coordination. This position has potential for growth into a management position.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily administrative operations within the dental office, including scheduling, patient check-in/out, and billing processes
- Supervise administrative staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with healthcare regulations
- Handle human resources tasks such as staffing, onboarding, and employee relations
- Maintain knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental and healthcare services
- Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols, including infection control procedures
- Insurance A/R + Patient A/R
Skills
- Proficiency with Tracker is a MUST
- Familiarity with insurance payments
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff, patients, and external partners
All Applicants must have a MIN. of 3 years experience in a dental office in Canada, along with knowledge of tracker and insurance payments.
Pay: $34.00-$38.00 per hour
