Our expansive and strategically designed hospital is equipped with advanced technology and resources that enable our team to provide exceptional care to every patient. We are proud to be home to Manitoba's first animal-specific CT scanner, along with digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, digital dental radiography, IDEXX in-house laboratory, laser therapy, and comprehensive dental, orthopedic, and soft tissue surgical services, including TPLO procedures. As the first smile our clients see and the reassuring voice they hear, Client Care Representatives are essential to delivering a warm, compassionate experience, ensuring every client and their pet feels welcomed, supported, and cared for.
- Respond promptly and professionally to a high volume of wellness and urgent care phone calls and email inquiries.
- Maintain and update client/patient medical records in our practice management software
- Schedule wellness and triage care appointments
- Support our medical team by communicating clearly and efficiently
- Assist with patient care if needed
- Create meaningful, lasting relationships with clients and their beloved pets.
What You'll Bring:
- A genuine love of working with animals and the people who care for them.
- A Veterinary Office Assistant diploma (Robertson College) or equivalent is considered an asset, but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology, or a willingness to learn.
- A proactive approach with the ability to take initiative and work independently when needed.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, statutory holidays, and occasional overnight shifts.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer Service experience: 2 years (Required)
Job Schedule & Type
- Full-time permanent position (up to 40 hours per week)
- 10-hour shifts
- 4-on, 4-off rotation, providing excellent work-life balance
- A variety of morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, with the possibility of overnight shifts
- Scheduled shifts include weekends and statutory holidays as part of the rotation
