✔ Can confidently handle cash, payment processing, and technology including POS systems and basic computer programs (Excel experience is considered an asset)
✔ Appreciate being involved in community events, fundraising initiatives, and local partnerships
✔ Understand that great hospitality means balancing fun, professionalism, and responsibility
✔ Are self-motivated and can stay productive without constant direction or supervision
Responsibilities include:
- Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly
- Creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Learning product knowledge and making recommendations to increase sales
- Operating POS systems and handling cash accurately
- Maintaining cleanliness of bar, tables, and service areas
- Supporting events, leagues, promotions, and fundraising activities
- Working collaboratively with the team during busy shifts
- Confidently managing shifts independently when scheduled alone
- Opening and/or closing duties as required
Availability Requirements:
Applicants must be available for evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional special events. Flexibility is important in this role.
Please note: Dooly’s operates throughout all holidays and only closes on Christmas Day, so applicants should be comfortable working within holiday schedules when required.
Experience:
Previous bartending or serving experience is an asset, but personality, work ethic, confidence, reliability, and willingness to learn matter just as much.
We’re looking for someone who wants to be part of our team long-term — someone who enjoys community, conversation, and creating a great experience for guests every shift.
Pay: $17.00 per hour
